Description
- Whisk the sugar, salt, flour, milk, and butter together in a mixing bowl.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and then chill the batter for 1 hour before using.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until they hold soft peaks.
- Using a spatula, lightly fold the egg whites into the batter until evenly combined.
- Heat the waffle maker to 430F (220C). Spoon a ladleful of batter into each side, close the lid, and cook for about 3 minutes, until golden.
- Carefully remove the waffles and cook the rest of the batter in the same way.
- Dust the waffles with confectioners’ sugar and serve immediately with fresh fruits and almond butter. Enjoy!
