Syracuse Salt Potatoes de Herb

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. (~24oz) baby medley potatoes
  • 1 cup kosher salt
  • water to cover potatoes up to 1″
  • melted butter (plain or compound)

Description

Procedure:

  1. Wash potatoes as needed.
  2. In a pot, add potatoes and cover with 1″ H2O.
  3. Add 1 cup kosher salt. Stir well to dissolve.
  4. Bring potatoes to a boil.
  5. Low boil potatoes for ~15 minutes.
  6. Drain in colander really well. Potatoes will turn frothy white.
  7. Serve with melted butter. Enjoy!
